New Blog Series: Praise And Thankfulness
We, at United House Publishing, want to focus on giving God our praise and thankfulness so He alone gets all the glory. Positioning ourselves to praise God by giving Him our thankfulness results in less focus on negative things.
Praising God takes our attention off circumstances we cannot control. It puts our burdens back into the hands of Jesus who does move mountains. We must give God our praise because we will see Him turn things around for our good.
In our new blog series, we will see stories of God’s faithfulness as He has been given praise despite what our situations look like. We will hear testimonies of God moving impossible mountains and more beyond what we can even comprehend.
As we joyfully jump into this series we will be able to recognize how our praise and thankfulness changes the atmosphere. We will be given a glimpse of how we can take authority over the enemy to glorify God in all things.
In giving the Lord our thankfulness, and praise, we will be reminded how His love is steadfast and never fails us.
Letting a joyful noise out to our God is a declaration of how wonderful He truly is to us. Even when we do not feel like praising God and fight hard to praise Him, it is worth every single word from our lips. God deserves all the glory we can give Him.
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 100 ESV
These beautiful words in Psalm 100 are a wonderful reflection of how great our God is to us. They remind us that praising God with thankfulness gives us the ability to see His goodness.
When we recognize God’s goodness through the power of praise we are able to have a mindset of victory. That is the power of praise and thankfulness, it takes our minds off the old mindset of being a victim. Thankfulness and praise puts us in a position of living victoriously in Christ Jesus.
We pray this new blog series encourages you to see how powerful praise and thankfulness can change not just our situations, but our hearts in the process.
