Our new blog theme will provide examples of how we see can God’s light in and through us. It is a reflection of how we can bring God’s light to those around us and for those who read our writing. Let there be light is about being a light and allowing God’s light to be seen.
We will read testimonies of how people have seen God’s light in their lives and see examples of choosing to see God’s light in the good times and the struggles.
In everything we face we must choose to see God’s light no matter the circumstances or difficulties we come up against. God’s light is always there shining on us to show He’s fighting for us.
All God has to do is speak light into existence and it comes. Everywhere we look we can see His light and know it will always be there.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Genesis 1:3 ESV
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:14-15 ESV
God’s light is brillant. He not only speaks light into existence, but He separates day from night. When we are able to see God’s light in our lives, we can see His hand guiding us. His light helps us to take the next step, the next yes, or the next pivot as we walk closer with God.
This blog theme will give us a glimpse of God’s light in every season we face. Let there be light blog theme is seeing how we can walk in God’s light and share His light.
We have to have His light in us by being in relationship with God. If His light is not in us, we cannot walk in the light. God’s light brightens our darkness to see we need His light to fill us and show us the way to the truth.
If you are struggling to see God’s light in your life, challenge yourself to write down the things that display God’s light in your life. Sit with God and ask Him to reveal more of His light to you. Ask the Lord to open your eyes in how to be a light for others in leading them back to God.

Choosing to see “Let there be light” of God’s light can be challenging at times. But we have to remember the Lord is with us in every step we take. He has spoken light into existence and it has shined down on us.
